2024 Membership

The annual Membership fees books your spot in the 2024 league competition and includes entry into the individual and team Knockout competitions too.

Included in this Membership fee is our specially designed 2024 WCG shirt from Custom Apparel.

We urge all golfers to get their Membership paid up as soon as possible, so that we can add your names to the field, and get the draws finalised for the respective KO groups.

What’s the Cost?

There is obviously a cost regarding admin, branding, marketing and other fees to run a successful league and instead of having a monthly membership fee, we have an annual fee at the start of the year and then the monthly game fees which include the competition fee.

Guests will need to pay an extra R50.00 comp fee per game, but if they join the league, this will be deducted from their joining fee total. Guests unfortunately can’t compete for the position prizes or take part in the Knockout and Order of merit format, but can compete for the prize markers.

For the year, plus cost of games as played through the year.

New Members

R 1 050.00

For the 1st year, plus cost of games as played through the year.

Included in the Fees:

  • Access to compete for league titles

  • Access to compete for the top 3 position prizes

Green Fees

Each course has their own fees for members, visitors, affiliated and non-affiliated golfers and we strive to negotiate a good rate for our events. Obviously the larger the group the better the rate so we encourage you to bring along mates to grow the numbers !

The applicable Green Fees for the WCG events will be published in the Call to Entry pack sent out on the WhatsApp group.

A WCG member or his/her guest confirms their participation through payment into the WCG nominated account by the preceding Friday (week before the WCG event).

Should a player cancel in the time between final payment and the event, it is up to them to identify a substitute from another WCG that missed the payment deadline or another friend who can play in their place. This is because we pay the course on the Monday morning before our event and can unfortunately not refund WCG members at this stage of the planning. We encourage WCG members to use the WCG General Chat group to request / identify potential replacements.
